Weekend Impressions:

The LEGO Batman Movie will be the Number One film at the box office this weekend hands down. The film looks absolutely hilarious in its own right (comedy-lovers will see the film) plus it will bring the large comic book fan-base. After disastrous Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, comic book are looking for a good Batman film. The LEGO Batman Movie is it. The LEGO Batman Movie is funny, original, and it doesn’t look as though it will let anyone down.

Fifty Shades Darker will be Second this weekend. The Fifty Shades of Grey fans will turn out en masse to see the next chapter of Anastasia “Ana” Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan)’s romance, regardless of the reviews the first film received and the reviews this chapter has received.

John Wick: Chapter Two will be Third this weekend. The film is coming into theaters with positive buzz and fans of the original will be back for a second helping of guns, bullets, and fantastic action sequences.

Split will be Fourth this weekend at the box office. Rings will round out the Top Five at the Unites States box office.
