The 2017 New York Comic Con has unleashed a bevy of new sneak peeks, trailer teases, teaser trailers, and full movie trailers for mainstream, independent, and documentary films and TV show trailers and promos for numerous primetime, cable, and streaming TV show series. These trailers include: Runaways, The Tick, The Man in the High Castle, Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie, and Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Trailer

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan‘s plot synopsis: “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan follows an up-and-coming CIA analyst thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. Ryan (Krasinski) uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.”

Amazon‘s Jack Ryan stars John Krasinski, Ali Suliman, Karim Zein, Nadia Affolter, Arpy Ayvazian, and Victoria Sanchez.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will begin airing on Amazon sometime in 2018.

 

The Tick: Season 1, Part 2 Teaser Trailer

The Tick‘s plot synopsis: “In a workaday world where superheroes fly among us, mild-mannered accountant Arthur Everest (Griffin Newman) suspects The City is controlled by a fabled villain known as The Terror (Jackie Earle Haley), despite evidence of The Terror’s death 15 years ago. Arthur has a traumatic connection with The Terror, whose movements he has obsessively tracked since childhood. Arthur’s sister, Dot (Valorie Curry), is a paramedic who dotes on her brother but also provides a sibling’s tough love. The more he talks about super-villain super-conspiracies, the more she warns him to “keep it real.”

Fate soon brings Arthur together with a tall, verbally adroit muscleman with superpowers and a mysterious past: The Tick (Peter Serafinowicz). As they investigate the mystery surrounding The Terror, they draw attention from the electrifying enigma known as Miss Lint and a hyper-violent vigilante named Overkill, confronting the complexity of the struggle between good and evil.”

Amazon’s The Tick stars Peter Serafinowicz, Griffin Newman, Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, Brendan Hines, Yara Martinez, Scott Speiser, Michael Cerveris, John Pirkis, and Alan Tudyk.

The second half of the first season of The Tick will be released on Amazon on February 23, 2018.

Runaways Teaser Trailer

Runaways‘ plot synopsis: “Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. What if you found out they actually were? Marvel’s Runaways is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe – their parents.”

Hulu‘s Runaways stars Ariela Barer, Rhenzy Feliz, Gregg Sulki, Virginia Gardner, and Allegra Acosta.

Runaways begins airing on Hulu on November 21, 2017.

Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie Trailer

Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie‘s plot synopsis: “Featuring a storyline picking up where the original TV series ended in 2004, Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie follows the kids on the field trip of a lifetime, where Arnold and his friends embark on a quest to achieve his dream of finding his missing parents.

original voice cast members Francesca Marie Smith (The Prince of Egypt) as Helga and Anndi McAfee (Tom and Jerry: The Movie) as Phoebe, alongside dynamic new voice talent Mason Vale Cotton (Mad Men) as Arnold and Benjamin “Lil’ P-Nut” Flores, Jr. (Game Shakers) as Gerald.

Lane Toran (original voice of Arnold) and Jamil Walker Smith (original voice of Gerald) will supplement the returning cast by lending their voices as Che and Paulo, two members of the boat crew in San Lorenzo, and Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2) stars as resident villain, Lasombra.

New voices include: Gavin Lewis (Real Boy) as Eugene; Jet Jurgensmeyer (Shimmer and Shine) as Stinky; Aiden Lewandowski (Comedy Bang! Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie will air on Nickelodeon on November 24, 2017 starting at 7 p.m.

The Man in the High Castle: Season 3 Sneak Peak

Siren Sneak Peek

Siren‘s plot synopsis: “What if there was something sinister swimming beneath the sea’s surface? In Freeform’s next epic tale, Siren, the coastal town of Bristol Cove, known for its legend of once being home to mermaids, is turned upside down when a mysterious girl (Eline Powell) appears and begins wreaking havoc upon the small fishing town. Using their resources, marine biologists Ben (Alex Roe) and Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola) must work together to find out who and what drove this primal hunter of the deep sea to land, and are there more like her out there?”

Freeform’s Siren stars Eline Powell, Alex Roe, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Aylya Marzoff, and Sedale Threatt Jr.

Siren will premiere on Freeform on March 29, 2018 with a two hour episode.
