Showtime‘s Our Cartoon President (2018) TV show trailer 2 stars Jeff Bergman and Gabriel Gundacker. This cartoon looks good and timely. I hope it is great. Obviously, this cartoon is done for laughs but if it had been taken more seriously, it could have been a very important animated series. Imagine if something happened in the White House, something of note, and Our Cartoon President writers and animators were able to dramatize that and place it in front of America for them to watch.

Instead, the series is played for laughs. The series looks at events that have happened but makes them even more comical and sadder than they originally were. The fact that a parody like this exists about a seating United States President, that says something about where we are in America.
