OUR KIND OF TRAITOR (2016) Movie Trailer 2: MI6 Agent Damian Lewis Uses Ewan McGregor

Our Kind of Traitor Trailer 2. Susanna White‘s Our Kind of Traitor (2016) movie trailer 2 has been released. This trailer is MI6 agent Hector (Damian Lewis)-centeric, a good thing, especially considering Lewis’ recent hit TV series Billions upped his profile in Hollywood. In the first trailer, Hector was inquisitive and suspicious of Perry Makepeace (Ewan McGregor). In this trailer, he is obviously manipulating everyone around him to get what he wants. Whether he is going that for career advancement or out of a sense of national duty, that is unclear. What is clear is that Hector (probably not his real name) is not above dangling meat in front of carnivores since to him (it seems) the ends justify the means.

Our Kind of Traitor‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by John le Carré, “While on holiday in Marrakech, an ordinary English couple, Perry (Ewan McGregor) and Gail (Naomie Harris), befriend a flamboyant and charismatic Russian, Dima (Stellan Skarsgård), who unbeknownst to them is a kingpin money launderer for the Russian mafia.

When Dima asks for their help to deliver classified information to the British Secret Services, Perry and Gail get caught in a dangerous world of international espionage and dirty politics. The couple is propelled on a perilous journey through Paris and Bern, a safe house in the French Alps, to the murky corners of the City of London and an alliance with the British Government via a ruthless and determined MI6 agent (Damian Lewis).”

Our Kind of Traitor also stars Stellan Skarsgård, Naomie Harris, Saskia Reeves, Alicia von Rittberg, Jeremy Northam, Mark Stanley, Pawel Szajda, Alec Utgoff, Marek Oravec, Grigoriy Dobrygin, Velibor Topic, Radivoje Bukvic, and Khalid Abdalla.
