Outsiders Promo. WGN‘s Outsiders (2016) TV show trailer stars David Morse, Ryan Hurst, Danielle Brickman, Ed Heavey, and Jackson Frazer. Outsiders‘ plot synopsis: “A struggle for power and control set in the rugged and mysterious hills of Appalachia, “Outsiders” tells the story of the Farrell clan, a family of outsiders who’ve been in these parts since before anyone can remember. Living off the grid and above the law on their mountaintop homestead, they’ll protect their world and defend their way of life using any means necessary.”

The 13-episode, one-hour original will follow the Farrells as they try to keep the outside world from intruding on a way of life they have enjoyed for almost 200 years.

The cast for “Outsiders” includes: David Morse (“Treme,” “Hurt Locker”) as Big Foster, a gruff and powerful heir to leadership; Ryan Hurst (“Sons of Anarchy,” “Bates Motel”), as Lil Foster, a massive mountain man and son of Big Foster; Joe Anderson (“The Divide,” “Across the Universe”) as Asa, a member of the Farrell clan looking to rejoin the family after a stint with the outside world; and many more.

Outsiders also stars Johanna McGinley, Laurie Klatscher, Mark Jeffrey Miller, Phyllis Somerville, Mark Falvo, Billy Hepfinger, Tina Alexis Allen, Jeb Kreager, Tarik Lowe, Gillian Alexy, Joe Anderson, Jason McCune, David Morse, JJ Condon, and Keith Michael Gregory.
