Ozploitation examined in the Not Quite Hollywood Movie Trailers

not-quite-hollywood-header

The documentary Not Quite Hollywood, directed by Mark Hartley, has one of the most entertaining trailers (the red-band trailer) I have seen in some time. Not Quite Hollywood is a documentary looking at the Ozploitation movies (as Quentin Tarantino calls them) from the 70’s and 80’s. The documentary includes the aforementioned Quentin Tarantino, Brian Trenchard-Smith, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dennis Hopper, George Lazenby, George Miller, Barry Humphries, Stacy Keach and John Seale. Check out the trailers below and leave your thoughts on them. Not Quite Hollywood is being brought to theater on July 31, 2009 in limited release.
