Camilla Belle, Rufus Sewell, Diego Boneta join Paradise Lost cast. The casting of Camilla Belle, Rufus Sewell, Diego Boneta in Alex ProyasParadise Lost (2012) answers the questions of who will play Eve (Camilla Belle), Samael (Rufus Sewell), Adam (Diego Boneta) in the “adaptation of Paradise Lost, the classic 17th century poem by John Milton, which revolves around the epic war in heaven between archangels Lucifer and Michael, including the latter’s role in Adam and Eve’s fall from grace.”

The latter character is Lucifer’s partisan who urges the Prince of Darkness to start the rebellion in Heaven. Meanwhile, Adam and Eve are the infamous (and usually nude) couple tempted by the Garden of Eden and expelled for their actions. The trio [Camilla Belle, Rufus Sewell, Diego Boneta] rounds out an impressive cast that includes Bradley Cooper playing Lucifer with rising star Benjamin Walker set to play Michael, and Djimon Hounsou is playing Abidel the angel of death. Casey Affleck is also starring as Gabriel, an angel who teams up with Michael to take down Lucifer.

Paradise Lost also stars Callan McAuliffe and Sam Reid.
