Paramount Pictures Sets Release Dates for Transformers 5, 6, and 7. The release dates have been set by Paramount Pictures for Transformers 5, Transformers 6, and Transformers 7. We reported earlier that Hasbro said four new Transformers films would happen in the next ten years. Three of those four films have now been given release dates by Paramount Pictures.
Transformers 5 will be released on June 23, 2017. Transformers 6 will be released on June 8, 2018. Transformers 7 will be released on June 28, 2019. June, apparently, is going to be the release month for Transformers films for the foreseeable future.
With Transformers 4 a.k.a. Transformers: Age of Extinction, opening in June of 2014 (June 27 to be precise), bringing in $1.1 Billion world-wide, Paramount is banking on replicating that success for as many years as possible.
Michael Bay will be directing Transformers 5 but no directors have been set for the other two films.
Transformers: Age of Extinction starred Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Victoria Summer, Titus Welliver, Li Bingbing, Brenton Thwaites, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Geng Han, Peter Cullen, and Mark Wahlberg.
Many of these actors, including Wahlberg, are expected to return for Transformers 5.
