Paul Newman (1925-2008) died yesterday in my home state of Connecticut from complications arising from lung cancer. I can’t say I’m a fan of Newman because of haven’t seen many of his most notably films from beginning to end including Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Slap Shot. I’ve seen them in pieces with the exception of The Road to Perdition. Its always sad when someone dies and Newman’s death is no different.
