Many of James Cameron‘s fans have been long been awaiting his upcoming film Avatar. Years ago, before he decided that this would be his next film, the script for this was available online to read. If I remember correctly, it was one the proported Ten Best Scripts Never Filmed. The script for I Am Legend was also one of them. Avatar synopsis: “A paraplegic ex-marine war veteran [(Sam Worthington)] is unwillingly sent to establish a human settlement on the distant planet of Pandora, only to find himself battling humankind alongside the planet’s indigenous Na’vi race.” Footage from the film was soon for first time this week. “James Cameron screened 24 minutes of his highly-anticipated Avatar at the Cinema Expo International in Amsterdam on Tuesday…The footage utilized the RealD XL Cinema System. The 3D presentation was on a 55-foot screen with nearly 10-foot Lamberts of light, delivering the largest and brightest 3D presentation at Cinema Expo.” We have a few pictures from the screening below. I love The Abyss, T1, T2 and Aliens: Director’s Cut so I am really looking forward to seeing and experiencing Avatar. Take a look at a few pictures (click the picture to enlarge) from the screening and leave your thoughts on them.
