Bill Hader to Play Alpha 5 in Power Rangers Film

Power Rangers is looking to add some comic relief, which is why they are turning to former SNL cast member Bill Hader for that. Lionsgate and Saban has chosen the comedian to voice Alpha 5, who is one of the Power Rangers’ most loyal allies on the original series.

The cast of the new Power Rangers film is getting better and better as they add another major player. Comedic actor Bill Hader will be voicing the Rangers’ lovable sidekick Alpha 5. He joins a cast with some newcomers including Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, RJ Cyler, and Becky Gomez. Rounding out the cast is Elizabeth Banks as the villainous Rita Repulsa and Bryan Cranston as the Rangers’ wise mentor Zordon.
