First Images of Bill Hader as Alpha 5 in Power Rangers

Some new images have surfaced online, giving fans a first look at the new design for Alpha 5, the android assistant to the Rangers for the upcoming film Power Rangers. The new concept art has a similar design to the original, but you can be the judges of that in the pictures below.

IGN released some new concept art of Alpha 5, one of the key characters appearing in Power Rangers played by Bill Hader. The new design makes some nods to the original Alpha 5 with its head and colors. However, the new suit has made some changes in making the robot look more alien-like with the two bulb eyes and the huge limb arrangement. It’s no surprise that some liberties were made to the character, just like with Rita Repulsa’s new look. It will be interesting to see how Zordon looks once the images come out for that.

Do you guys like the new design for Alpha 5 or do you prefer more of the original? Check out the images below and let us know what you think. Power Rangers is scheduled to release on March 24, 2017.
