POWER RANGERS (2017): New Footage of The Rangers in Action

Power Rangers Final Trailer

New Action-Packed Trailer for Power Rangers

Lionsgate has debuted a new final trailer for the upcoming Power Rangers reboot, which shows some fresh, new footage of the rangers in action. The new trailer makes use of the theme song as well as the popular slogan, ‘Go Go Power Rangers!’ as shown in the end.

Some new action scenes were added in this new trailer from Power Rangers. We see Angel Grove’s five teenage citizens as they suit up to fight against Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks). There are also some wise words coming from Zordon (Bryan Cranston) and a fun moment with Alpha-5 (Bill Hader). The trailer shows off some of the Zords being piloted by Jason (Dacre Montgomery), Trini (Becky Gomez), Billy (RJ Cyler), Kimberly (Naomi Scott), and Zack (Ludi Lin). We have some other fun moments like when Billy compares themselves as a cross between Iron Man and Spider-Man, a nice nod to Marvel.

If you notice towards the end of the trailer, we hear some of the theme song from the original series. It seems like the film is looking to put in some of the music that fans may remember as well as with the characters. What do you guys think of the new trailer? Are you excited now more than ever for the Power Rangers?
