Starz‘s Power: Season 4 TV show trailer stars Lela Loren, Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora, and Jerry Ferrara. Power: Season 4’s plot synopsis: “Ghost’s darkest hour has arrived. He’s no longer ahead of the game.”

The shoe is going to be on the other foot during this season of Power. I didn’t see this coming. When Kanan (50 Cent) was sent to prison by Ghost (Omari Hardwick), he had to deal with a whole new reality and adapt. Now Ghost will have to do the same thing.

From the footage, it looks like Kanan releases Ghost’s son (Michael Rainey Jr.). With Ghost in jail, facing  murder charge, there is no reason to hold him for ransom anymore (in Kanan’s mind). A smarter person would see this is as the opportunity to bleed Ghost dry so that he had no money for his expensive defense attorney (Jerry Ferrara).

Kanan made a lot of friends and acquaintances in prison. Kanan is going to use them to harm and possibly kill Ghost while he is inside. Ghost is now in Kanan’s playground.

Like I said in my review of the season finale of Season 3 of Power, Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) was right. Ghost should have killed A.D.A Angela Valdes (Lela Loren). Now the district attorney’s office will have to prove that James St. Patrick is Ghost. There is no evidence pointing to that. Holly is dead and at least Ghost was smart enough not to divulge the secrets of his drug business to Angela.

The A.D.A. prosecuting Ghost has a gigantic uphill battle to prove that James St. Patrick is Ghost. It will be interesting to see how he builds his case on a finger print (with no chain of evidence) that could have been left outside of that window at any time.

Power: Season 4 also stars La La Anthony, Marcus Callender, Matt Cedeño, Craig DiFrancia, David Fumero, Franky G, Mark Gessner, Kelcy Griffin, Olli Haaskivi, Omari Hardwick, Donshea Hopkins, and J.R. Ramirez.
