NBC Picks Up Powerless to Series and Releases Poster and Images. NBC is giving another crack at the superhero genre as the network has just picked up Powerless straight to series. They have given us a sneak peak of the series with a poster and some images from the pilot episode.

NBC’s Powerless tackles the world of superheroes as it follows an insurance company as they deal with the destruction left by these superheroes. The black comedy series stars Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, and Christina Kirk as a group of insurance claims employees. EW has unveiled a poster showing the whole cast and some images from the pilot. The first image introduces us to Vanessa’s character Emily Locke, an insurance claims adjuster who finds superheroes a nuisance, especially when one makes her late for work. The other image shows us her coworkers Teddy and Jackie, both played by Danny and Christina who happen to love their local heroes. We also have their ruthless boss Del as portrayed by Firefly’s Alan Tudyk.
