POWERS: New Poster Gets Released

Poster Unveiled for Upcoming Adaptation of Powers. Powers, an upcoming adaptation of the comic book series by Image Comics, has just revealed their poster that shows the two leads up close in pulp fiction style.

The poster released by IGN, comes out just two days before the show’s appearance at New York Comic Con. Fans can get their own copy of the poster signed by the cast and co-creator Brian Michael Bendis this weekend at New York Comic Con. Signings will take place on Saturday, October 11 from 1:15 to 2:15 at autograph booth #14.

Power Poster

Powers, created by Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, follows two detectives as they solve superhero-related crimes in a world filled with super-powered beings. The series was launched in 2004 through Image Comics before being moved to Marvel under its Icon Imprint.

The series stars Sharlto Copley as Detective Christian Walker and Susan Waward as Deena Pilgrim. Joining the cast are Michelle Forbes, Adam Godley, Max Fowler, Olseya Rulin, Noah Taylor, and Eddie Izzard.

The show was developed by Remi Aubuchon who will serve as showrunner with 30 Days of Night director David Slade to helm the first two episodes. Powers will launch on the Sony Playstation Network this December.
