POWERS: New Trailer for Playstation Series

Powers Gets a New Trailer for Upcoming Playstation Series. The Sony Playstation Network has released a brand new trailer for it’s first original series Powers. The live-action adaptation of the Icon Comics series comes out on March 10 and will be free for PSN Plus members.

In the new trailer, Sharlto Copley’s Christian Walker looks over the city of Los Angeles as it’s filled with superheroes. He voices over through the entire trailer in which he says:

In this world, not all of us can fly. Not all of us are strong enough to change our fate, or fast enough to outrace the past. Not all of us can be legends, but all of us have a choice. All of us can rise.

The series revolves on detectives Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward) who investigate crimes in a world full of superheroes and supervillains. The two detectives work in LA for a special homicide division called Powers.

The first three episodes will debut on PSN with a new episode premiering every following Tuesday. In addition, the pilot episode will be available to everyone for free at the Playstation website.
