AMC‘s Preacher ‘Holes’ trailer & clip stars Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, Ruth Negga, Ian Colletti, and Graham McTavish. Guest stars include Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Ronald Guttman, Noah Taylor, and Pip Torrens.

In the next installment of Preacher, Arseface (Ian Colletti) gets into trouble in Hell, of all places, when the staffers figure out that “one of these inmates is not like the others.” On one hand, it sounds like a get-of-Hell-free card; but on the other hand, I’m dying to know what being punished – on top of eternal damnation – would like like, in this case.

Meanwhile, the God Squad split threads, and gets the Candid Camera treatment.

Jesse (Dominic Cooper) follows the handgun serial number lead down the company rabbit hole; Tulip (Ruth Negga) takes to removing the holes she can see, after the Cowboy’s (Graham McTavish) killing spree; and Denis (Ronald Guttman) leaves a potentially final message for Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), but of a more literal plea nature, than the more customary flip-off.

Seems like a good time for Grail operatives to slip into the scene, and place Denis’ guests under surveillance.

Having met Herr Starr (Pip Torrens), some new light had to have been shed on those he’d consider to be his best operatives, wouldn’t you say? Well, in the ‘Meeting the Neighbors’ clip, Tulip’s soul patching – via bullet hole patch working – gets held up by the time it takes Grail spook, Lara Featherstone (Julie Ann Emery), to transform into the meek neighbor, down the hall.

Consider how valuable her PTSD persona could be, at getting an in with Tulip, and I’m getting a Natasha Romanov level of scary vibe from this woman….

‘Holes’ airs Monday, Aug. 07, at 9:00 pm EST, on AMC.
