Preacher Season Two Gets a Summer Premiere with First Photos 

AMC has finally announced a premiere date for last year’s new hit series Preacher with it’s second season debuting on Monday, June 19 at 9PM. To help us prepare for the summer premiere, we also have our first look at the new season with a new batch of photos.

Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), Tulip O’Hare (Ruth Negga), and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) are prepping for their road trip during the second season of Preacher. With an early summer release date, we also learn that the show will be moving from Sundays to Mondays. The move to a different day certainly has the show avoid any competition from the epic fantasy series Game of Thrones.

Last season ended with Jesse and the gang heading out on the road after the destruction of their small town of Annville, Texas. Even though this upcoming season has been kept under wraps, we should expect to see the series adapting much of the comics at this point. We are also going to be introduced to many characters from the comics, including the Man in White AKA Herr Starr so we can expect to see more trouble lying ahead for our group.

In some of the photos, we see some behind-the-scenes with developer Seth Rogen as he visits the set. There also appears to be a shootout in place when our heroes have a standout with the cops. We even find The Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish) as he continues his hunt to kill Jesse. During this season, we can expect some fun times with the gang after looking at these images.
