On the release on this Prometheus movie trailer:

Following the fascinating live Q&A with writer Damon Lindelof and director Ridley Scott presented by AMC …, Fox has revealed a second, full 2-minute theatrical trailer for Prometheus online.

Now that we see what the story is and how it connects to Alien, Prometheus is even cooler. The tech is still to advanced to be a prequel in my opinion (Star Wars prequels anyone?) but did we really expect Ridley Scott not to use the latest CGI to create effects? Producers gave away a little much away (if you know what you are seeing) but the viewer, if they have seen Alien, could have figured some of it out, especially what happens in the last third of the movie trailer.

Prometheus‘ cast also includes Patrick Wilson, Guy Pearce, Rafe Spall, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Emun Elliott, Vladimir ‘Furdo’ Furdik, and James Embree.

Watch the Prometheus movie trailer below and leave your thoughts on it in the comments section. Prometheus opens in US theaters through the Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation on June 8, 2012. For more Prometheus photos, videos, and information, visit our Prometheus Page.
