Pusher‘s plot synopsis: “The exploits of a low-life drug-slinger get a flashy English-language makeover in Luis Prieto’s PUSHER, a remake of the gritty 1996 Danish original by DRIVE director Nicolas Winding Refn. PUSHER follows street dealer Frank (Richard Coyle) through a hellish week as his life completely unravels. Naively believing that he’s got a sure thing on his hands, Frank borrows money from his supplier, Milo (Zlatko Buri?, reprising his role from the Danish trilogy), in order to get in on a big drug deal. When things don’t go according to plan, Frank has to scramble to come up with the cash before Milo’s Enforcer Hakan (Mem Ferda) looses his patience with him. Frank’s desperation mounts as the clock ticks. The increasingly frantic Frank becomes willing to do whatever it takes to save himself, risking losing his life and his humanity. Soon, Frank is beating up his sidekick (Bronson Webb), betraying his girlfriend (model-turned-actress Agyness Deyn), and even trying to con his own mother.”

Pusher also stars Zlatko Buric, Bronson Webb, Paul Kaye, Bill Thomas, Daisy Lewis, Badria Timimi, Richard Shanks, and Joanna Hole.

British actor Mem Ferda who stars in the new PUSHER remake as Hakan attended the UK PUSHER Premiere at the PICTURE HOUSE, Hackney, London, on Thursday 4th of October along with other VIP celebrity guests of which included the Director of the original 1996 Pusher film Nicolas Winding Refn.
