The Red Eagle Movie Trailer has premiered. Red Eagle (2010) is directed by Wisit Sasanatieng and stars Ananda Everingham. Red Eagle (2010)’s plot synopsis: “a reboot of a 1960s Thai film series that starred Mitr Chaibancha as a masked superhero crimefighter. The film series ended in tragedy when Mitr was killed in 1970 during the making of Golden Eagle.” This looks good, far better than The Green Hornet film coming out. I was impressed with the elevator scenes, some of the swordplay, and that the good guy does not seem invincible. There is no word on when this Thai film is coming to the US. My guess it that it would come here via film festival and then get picked up for US distribution.
