The Red State Teaser Trailer has premiered. Kevin Smith‘s Red State (2011) stars Michael Parks, Melissa Leo, John Goodman, and Michael Angarano. Red State (2011)’s plot synopsis: “A horror film in which a group of misfits encounter fundamentalism gone to the extreme in Middle America.” This is what I am talking about. Great teaser trailer by Kevin Smith. He doesn’t give too much away and entices the viewer, making them want more.
The Sundance festival film guide states:
Advertisement“Red State begins by following three horny high school boys who come across an online ad from an older woman looking for a gang bang. Boys being boys, they hit the road to satisfy their libidinal urges. But what begins as a fantasy takes a dark turn as they come face-to-face with a terrifying “holy” force with a fatal agenda.”
I have to say I am looking forward to what Kevin Smith can produce in the horror genre. He really knows how to write dialogue. Check out the Red State teaser trailer below and leave your thoughts on it. Red State opens in March of 2011.
