REGRESSION (2015): Movie Poster Features Terrified Emma Watson

Emma Watson is Scared of Regression

Regression Movies Poster Features A Terrified Emma Watson. The new horror film by Alejandro Amenábar features a frightened Emma Watson looking at her surroundings.

So far, there’s only been one trailer for Amenábar’s newest film, and Good Lord in Heaven does it look tremendous. Amenábar inspires a deep well of faith in me. I’m absolutely thrilled that his newest project is a horror film focusing on the occult. It’s one of my favourite cinematic and literary subjects, and I simply can’t get enough. Of course, most of these horror films are low-grade, disappointing b-films, so this feels like we’re in for a treat – we might be getting not only a good horror film, but a great one. The official release date is August 28, 2015, and I couldn’t be more excited. One of the greatest modern horror films is Amenábar’s The Others (2001) – a World War I ghost story told beautifully, hauntingly, and featuring great performances. This will hopefully follow nicely in his filmography, and scare me to death.

The plot of the film:

Minnesota, 1990. Detective Bruce Kenner (Ethan Hawke) investigates the case of young Angela (Emma Watson), who accuses her father, John Gray (David Dencik), of an unspeakable crime. When John unexpectedly and without recollection admits guilt, renowned psychologist Dr. Raines (David Thewlis) is brought in to help him relive his memories and what they discover unmasks a horrifying nationwide mystery

Take a look at the poster and chime in below. Are you excited? I’m over the moon. I think it’s time to watch some horror movies.

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
