The Theatrical Release Schedule for The Conjuring 2, Top Five, The Finest Hours, and other films have been revealed. The announced release dates and the adjusted release schedules are between 2014-2018. All the release dates are subject to change by their producers and/or their distributors.

Zootopia will bow nationwide on March 4, 2016, and centers on a fast-talking fox on the run after being framed for a crime he didn’t commit. He teams with the self-righteous rabbit cop who’s chasing him to unlock a bigger conspiracy.

Moana

the South Pacific-set Moana will see release on November 23, 2016, and follows the title navigator as she sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her journey she teams up with the legendary demi-god Maui to traverse the open ocean on a voyage where they will encounter enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore.

The next release by Disney Animation is the short film Frozen Fever, a continuation of the popular Frozen franchise. After that, according to the previously announced release dates, Disney Animation will take 2017 off and have two films in 2018 around the same dates as these.

The Finest Hours

Disney has set the release date for its disaster-at-sea feature The Finest Hours for April 15, 2016. The 3-D drama from filmmaker Craig Gillespie chronicles the massive rescue mission that’s launched when a pair of oil tankers split in two off the coast of Cape Cod in 1952.

Top Five

Paramount has shifted Chris Rock’s smash Toronto hit Top Five to a wide release on December 12, instead of a previously scheduled limited bow on December 5…Top Five will face Exodus: Gods And Kings and Inherent Vice on December 12.

Insidious Chapter 3

The Conjuring 2

Insidious Chapter 3, written and directed by Leigh Whannell, has been moved back one week to June 5, 2015. One year after that his partner in crime, James Wan, will release The Conjuring 2. The new Conjuring 2 release date is set for June 10, 2016.

The Visit

Universal has picked up rights to M. Night Shyamalan’s horror-thriller “The Visit,” produced with horror specialist Jason Blum, and set it for a Sept. 11 release.

The story centers on a brother and sister sent for a week to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm, where they discover that the grandparents are involved something deeply disturbing.
