ROBOT AND FRANK (2012) Movie Trailer: Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon

Frank Langella Robot and Frank

Robot and Frank Trailer. Jake Schreier‘s Robot and Frank (2012) movie trailer stars Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon, Liv Tyler, James Marsden, and Peter Sarsgaard. Robot and Frank‘s plot synopsis: “Set in the near future, Frank (Frank Langella), a retired cat burglar, has two grown kids who are concerned he can no longer live alone. They are tempted to place him in a nursing home until Frank’s son chooses a different option: against the old man’s wishes, he buys Frank a walking, talking humanoid robot (Peter Sarsgaard) programmed to improve his physical and mental health. What follows is an often hilarious and somewhat heartbreaking story about finding friends and family in the most unexpected places.”

This could be as good as the Blinky (2010) Short Film but in a different way. Robot and Frank emphasizes the friendship and bond that grows between the Robot and Frank. Blinky was about the dark side of owing a robot and more in-your-face.
