RUIN (2012) Short Film and Poster: Wes Ball

Ruin

Ruin Short Film. Wes Ball‘s Ruin (2012) short film is an “animated short set in a post-apocalyptic universe”. This future earth reminded me immediately as Battlefield Earth and the world a thousand years in the future where the environment has not been kept in check and the street and cities have been left to their own devices.

Ruin is described “as [Wes Ball] ‘passion project’, Ball has been working on Ruin off and on for the last two years.”

A question never answered: What is Haven Nano Systems? I loved that this question is never answered. Also never answered is if someone is flying the aircraft or if its guided by A.I.. Since the short film revolves around a nano tech company, I am leaning toward the latter.
