Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern (2011) has premiered via Entertainment Weekly. Green Lantern is directed by Martin Campbell and stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Tim Robbins, Peter Sarsgaard, and Angela Bassett. Green Lantern‘s plot synopsis: “In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.” In the cover photo, Ryan Reynolds is sporting the fabled computer generated Green Lantern suit we have heard so much about and probably would never have seen if it weren’t for the success of Avatar and the advent of 3D it ushered in. Green Lantern is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2011. Most of the other photos are labeled via the Entertainment Tonight article.
