Samurai Jack Season Five Trailer

Cartoon Network Releases New Trailer for Samurai Jack’s Fifth Season

After teasing the return of Samurai Jack, Cartoon Network has finally unveiled a new trailer for the anticipated fifth season of the hit animated series. Based on the trailer, it seems like so much time has passed since we last saw Jack. Hard to believe it’s been 13 years since the show left.

The new trailer for Samurai Jack has been released for Adult Swim’s next series in their line-up. It appears that Jack has stopped aging because of the effects of time travel and it’s revealed that it’s been 50 years since he went into the future to chase Aku. The video also shows Jack mastering all kinds of weapons but his mystical sword is nowhere in site. Does this mean that Jack has lost the only weapon capable of killing Aku? Or perhaps something happened to Jack that made him surrender his family heirloom?

We’ll have to wait until March 11 to see what has happened to Jack when season five opens. Here’s the synopsis for the fifth season so far:

It’s been 50 years since we saw Samurai Jack and time has not been kind to him. Aku has destroyed every time portal and Jack has stopped aging, a side effect of time travel. It seems he is cursed to just roam the land for all eternity.
