Sasha Grey stars in Soderbergh’s The Girlfriend Experience

Sasha Grey is coming up in the world. First Smash Cut and Quit in 2008 and now the staring role in The Girlfriend Experience, a Steven Soderbergh directed film. “To have the opportunity to work for an Academy Award-winning auteur is truly a great honor,” Grey told AVN. “I’ve been an admirer of Soderbergh’s films for years, and I am elated that I have been given a leading role in a character-driven film.” The Girlfriend Experience is part of a six-picture deal Soderbergh has with Mark Cuban and was written by Ocean’s 13 screenwriters’ Brain Kopplman and David Levien. The Girlfriend Experience is low-budget drama and chronicles the life of a high-price call girl. This is a long shot but I’m guessing Grey will be playing the call girl.
