Skyfall‘s plot synopsis: “Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

Skyfall does not carry on from where Quantum of Solace left off, as Quantam of Solace followed the action from Casino Royale. Producer Barbara Broccoli said that the series “will go on to other different stories from now on.” She also talked about the common villain organization across the three movies, saying that Bond “will go after the Quantum organization. So in that sense, it may become a trilogy, but we haven’t really structured it that way.

Skyfall also stars Helen McCrory, Javier Bardem, Tonia Sotiropoulou, Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Tom Wu, and Michael G. Wilson.
