The Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) Super Bowl TV spot has been released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Like all Star Wars first look TV commercials or trailers, Solo: A Star Wars Story commercial imbues the viewer with a sense of awe. After Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: The Last Jedi however, I am not falling for any of these tricks. Not anymore.

Everything in this TV spot looks good and high-end but like I (and a famous literary character) said, “I’ve been there before.”

Solo: A Star Wars Story‘s plot synopsis: “Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”

Solo: A Star Wars Story also stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany, Woody Harrelson, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Warwick Davis, Clint Howard, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, Richard Dixon, and Deepak Anand.
