Ron Howard‘s Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) movie trailer stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany, Woody Harrelson, and Donald Glover. Solo: A Star Wars Story‘s plot synopsis: “Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”

It has finally arrived and the film looks…okay. Competent. A high-end science-fiction film. That’s about it, at least to me. Solo: A Star Wars Story looks cool but so did Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We know how both of those films turned out with regard to: characters, arcs, plot-lines, pacing, and missed opportunities.

Solo: A Star Wars Story also stars Thandie Newton, Warwick Davis, Clint Howard, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, Richard Dixon, and Deepak Anand.
