The official poster for Spartacus: Gods of the Arena has been released. In the poster are the character Grannicus (Dustin Clare), Batiatus (John Hannah), Lucretia (Lucy Lawless), and Gaia (Jaime Murray). You can find out about the other characters in the prequel in this post: Spartacus: Gods of the Arena: Full Cast and Character Listing. Spartacus: Gods of the Arena plot synopsis: “In the prequel, Batiatus (John Hannah) is not yet the head of his family or of the gladiator training school. Gannicus is the lead gladiator in the Ludus, but the House of Batiatus hasn’t earned social respect or the right for its gladiators to fight in championship bouts. Gannicus struggles to turn around the House’s luck. Gannicus – newly promoted to the top position at Batiatus’s ludus –  is best friend to Oenomaus and his wife Melitta, forming an unlikely triangle of loyal friendship.” Grannicus looks cocky as hell with that smirk on his face in the poster. Lets hope he backs it up in the prequel. Check out the  Spartacus: Gods of the Arena poster below. Click to enlarge.
