Miles Morales to Appear in Spider-Man Animated Film

Miles Morales is about to make his way to the big screen as Sony Pictures announced that the bi-racial webhead would be a part of the untitled Spider-Man animated feature. Besides Miles Morales, the film will also have a new co-director at the helm.

The announcement was made as the studio also debuted some test footage and concept art from the new animated film. Also, Rise of the GuardiansPeter Ramsey will join Bob Persichetti to help direct Miles’ first solo film. It’s also a fact that this will be a standalone film and won’t be connected with the MCU films.

Sony Pictures also made two tweets regarding the new Spidey film, giving the same news from the presentation to the Twitterverse. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are still involved with the film as executive producers and will be writing it together.
