SPIDER-MAN (2017): Title for Reboot Possibly Revealed

Spider-Man Homecoming

Spider-Man Possibly Gets a Title for Reboot. Fans have been wondering for the upcoming Spider-Man reboot on what it would be called. Well, Sony Pictures recently registered a web domain, which may reveal the title, which hints it may be called Spider-Man: Homecoming.

It is an unusual title for a reboot on the web slinger, but in a way, it makes sense. The title does mean that it will have Peter (Tom Holland) in high school, which Marvel and Sony confirmed it will be. It’s also a nice way to show that Spider-Man in finally arriving home to where it belongs, which is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We can also point out that the title is the same name as the Spider-Man storyline in the 80s that featured the Avengers. Perhaps we may see some of the team appearing in the young hero’s first solo outing?

If the film does follow the same storyline, we could be seeing villains from there as well, including Venom, Lizard, and Black Cat. Maybe not exactly the same though, since Lizard has been used in The Amazing Spider-Man.

What do you all think of the title? Do you have any theories on it?
