The bootleg of the new trailer for Star Trek (2009), directed by J. J. Abrams, that is appearing in front of the Quantum of Solace this weekend has been leaked online, but probably not for long. The trailer definitely complements the Star Trek (2009) pictures released for the film thus far. When the kid answers an asked question:”I’m James Tiberius Kirk” I winced. Who says their middle name when they are asked their name? Please.

So Kirk was a delinquent, Spock is emotional & aggressive, Uhara can’t keep her clothes on and Scotty seems ever-so-slightly insane… but theres some original sound effects folks!
but putting the canon down for a moment, that was sure one hell of a trailer, the kid in me can’t wait…
J.J. wanted to shake things up Tinfish. He certainly did that.
When Kirk leaps out of the car is a pretty badass moment. One of the most exciting in the trailer.
It will be interesting to see if this film has staying power,,,

It will be also be interesting to see Diora Baird as an Orion in the film.
