Star Wars The Force Awakens Japanese Trailer Features New FootageJ.J. AbramsStar Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) international movie trailer stars Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Crystal Clarke, and Pip Anderson. Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ plot synopsis: “A continuation of the saga created by George Lucas set thirty years after Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983).”

I was impressed with how much new footage can be found in the new Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens trailer. Kylo Ren holding the lightsaber on Rey was a cool moment as were some of the new battle scenes. Another new moment was Chewy triggering some device, presumably a bomb.

There were also additional pieces of overlay dialogue e.g. “hope it not lost today, it is found.”
