Starship Troopers 3 Trailer

starship-troopers-johnny-rico.jpgJohnny Rico (Juan Rico in the book) is back to crunch bugs underneath his Mobile Infantry boots in Starship Troopers 3: Marauder. Joining him this time around is Jolene Blalock. The synopsis of Marauder is that: The war against the Bugs continues, Rico (Casper Van Dien) is a colonel and back in action to defeat the bugs. The film will be released straight-to-video on July 15, 2008. This flick looks really cheesy, even worse than the last one, which is an abysmal achievement. I read the book by Robert A Heinlein that the original film was based on and none of the three Starship Troopers’ films bare any real resemblance to them. The only interesting element in the presence of Blalock.

  • I loved the first one. Dont ask me why! I’m going to watch it too!

  • I loved Heinlein’s book. The original film had its moments but was too goofy in too many instances for my taste.
