Suicide Squad Movie Clips, IMAX Countdown Video, & Featurette

9 movie clips, an IMAX Countdown video, and a movie featurette for Suicide Squad (2016) from the David Ayer‘s superhero film have been released. From the movie clips released for this comic book adaptation, Suicide Squad is going to be a superhero film, like Captain America: Civil War, that actually lives up to the hype and everyone expectations.

I don’t know if the film is shown in a linear way or if flash backs are used throughout the film. Whatever the format, I am looking forward to seeing the background of certain characters in this film. Chief among them is Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie). Second would be Deadshot (Will Smith) and The Enchantress (Cara Delevingne). The released trailers contain tidbits of all three.

The Enchantress clip was released in a extended TV spot but the other eight clips are new. The Deadshot clip may be the highlight of the bunch.

The IMAX Countdown video doesn’t feature any new footage but it does contain The Joker laughing.

The Suicide Squad movie featurette entitled ‘It’s Good To Be Bad’ is all about the actors getting into their roles. The training involved, stunt work, etc are all on display (as well as new footage from the film).

Suicide Squad‘s plot synopsis: “It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super-Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?”

Suicide Squad also stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Viola Davis, Jared Leto, Adam Beach, Ben Affleck, Jai Courtney, Karen Fukuhara, Common, Jim Parrack, Joel Kinnaman, Jay Hernandez, Scott Eastwood, and Ike Barinholt.
