SUICIDE SQUAD (2016): Jai Courtney Talks Captain Boomerang

Jai Courtney Captain Boomerang

Jai Courtney Discusses Playing Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad. Aussie actor Jai Courtney will be set to play anti-hero Captain Boomerang in the upcoming Suicide Squad where he will team up with other villains such as himself. Courtney revealed some juicy details on his role.

IGN spoke with the actor during a promotion for his latest film Insurgent, where the outlet discussed with him about fitting into the role as the Aussie villain. “I’ve had a few fittings, but the costume is in development as we speak,” the actor teased. “It’s not going to look like anything that’s been done before, and I think this whole world will look a lot different than anything else.”

We all know that Captain Boomerang has a history with The Flash, so that brings us to whether or not Courtney would also appear in the The Flash with Ezra Miller. Unfortunately, the actor wasn’t keen on sharing any more details at the moment. “I’m not withholding anything, but that is a dialogue that hasn’t been opened yet,” was all he can say. Well it’s still early to know whom The Flash will be up against in his first solo film, but Captain Boomerang appearing in the film isn’t a farfetched idea.

Perhaps Courtney can get a few pointers from Spartacus co-star Nick Tarabay, who played Captain Boomerang in The CWs The Flash and Arrow. What do you guys think?
