SUICIDE SQUAD (2016): Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor Targeted for Film

Jesse Eisenberg

Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor Rumored to Appear on Suicide Squad. The Suicide Squad may be bringing one of Superman’s famous villains on their team. Deadline reported a rumor that Jesse Eisenberg may reprise his role as Lex Luthor in the upcoming film.

The story suggests that Jesse Eisenberg is in early talks with Warner Bros. to appear in the Suicide Squad film after he appears in the anticipated movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. If the actor takes the offer, 2016 will be a very busy year for him as he will also be shooting Now You See Me 2 and may also come back for Zombieland 2.

According to DC Comics lore, Lex Luthor has dealt with the Suicide Squad on some occasions but not as a member. It would make sense to bring Lex into the fold to help the Suicide Squad in some capacity.

This is the second casting rumor we have heard regarding the Suicide Squad film. Earlier, reports suggest that the David Ayer-directed film has been talking with Tom Hardy, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Ryan Gosling for roles. The Task Force X may rumor to include Multiplex, Jaculi, Mindboggler, Captain Boomerang, Vixen, and Deadshot.

Do you guys think Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor should be added to the Suicide Squad?
