SUICIDE SQUAD (2016): PG-13 Rating Bestowed & TV Spots 3-4 Released
Suicide Squad PG-13 Ratings and TV Spots 3-4
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has given David Ayer‘s Suicide Squad (2016) a rating of PG-13. The DC Comics film received that rating because of “sequences of violence and action throughout, disturbing behavior, suggestive content and language.” Two new TV commercials for the super villain action film have also been released. The first TV spot is heavy on Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and features Batman (Ben Affleck). The second TV spot, entitled ‘Worst of the Worst,’ features a heavy contingent of Joker (Jared Leto) scenes and his “toys.” Later, the other bad guys, using their powers, are shown.
Suicide Squad also stars Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Common, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jim Parrack, Viola Davis, Will Smith, Joel Kinnaman, Jay Hernandez, Karen Fukuhara, Adam Beach, Scott Eastwood, and Ike Barinholt.
Suicide Squad‘s plot synopsis: “A secret government agency recruits imprisoned super-villains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.”
