SUICIDE SQUAD (2016): Sequel in Development with Deadshot Spin-off

Will Smith Joel Kinnaman Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad Sequel Being Made Alongside Deadshot Solo Film

Despite David Ayer getting busy with Gotham City Sirens, the sequel for Suicide Squad is still going on. Not only is the Suicide Squad sequel being developed, reports also suggest that Warner Bros. is also looking to have Will Smith’s Deadshot have his own feature film.

Margot Robbie and David Ayer may be reuniting for Gotham City Sirens, but that doesn’t leave out a sequel for Suicide Squad from being made. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Warner Bros. is still working on the Suicide Squad sequel. There isn’t anything else beyond that on when it will come out or who will direct it, but it’s certainly a surprise since the film had mostly negative reviews and made a decent amount of money in the box office.

There’s also been word that the studio is hoping to develop a spin-off film based on Deadshot. Smith has been praised for his performance as the hired assassin, so having a film based on him would probably make an interesting story. Which of these films are you looking forward to see?
