The Super 8 Movie Trailer has premiered. J.J. Abrams‘ Super 8 (2011) stars Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Amanda Michalka, Joel Courtney, and Noah Emmerich. Super 8′s plot synopsis: “Set in 1979 Ohio, the film will follow a group of six young children as they use a Super 8 camera to make their own home movie. One night while filming near a remote stretch of railroad track, the children witness a truck collide with an oncoming train leading to a catastrophic derailment. Amidst the fire and destruction, something emerges from within the wreckage, something inhuman.” The viewer is given far more exposition in this full length movie trailer for Super 8 than they did in the Super 8 Teaser Trailer and the Super 8 Superbowl TV Spot. I had no idea that the children in the cast were right there in the middle of the train derailment. I wonder if any get wasted by it but I doubt it. I also liked the narration by Kyle Chandler and the back and forth between him and Noah Emmerich. Super 8 also stars Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee, Zach Mills, Gabriel Basso, and Colin Mathews.
