Supergirl: Distant Sun Trailer

The CW’s Supergirl Season 2, Episode 17: Distant Sun TV Show trailer stars Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Chyler Leigh, and David Harewood. Following this week’s musical crossover, next week’s episode has Supergirl dealing with some bounty hunters on her tail.

Kevin Smith returns to direct another Supergirl episode as a large bounty is put out on Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) with aliens around National City going after the Girl of Steel. With these alien bounty hunters after her, she will need some help in stopping them and finding out who placed a bounty on her head. Meanwhile, Mon-El (Chris Wood) shows his royal parents Rhea (Teri Hatcher) and Lar Gand (Kevin Sorbo) the kind of life he’s leading on Earth. Based on their reaction, they don’t seem too pleased that their son is working as a bartender in an alien bar. The episode also marks the return of Lynda Carter as President Marsdin. Here’s hoping we get more information on her background since that revelation we saw during the premiere.

It also looks like Kara and Mon-El are working things out towards the end of the trailer. However, we do find the two of them fighting one another. It makes us wonder what will cause them to fight in the first place. What will become of them? Will we be seeing these two make up or is their relationship gone for good?
