SUPERGIRL: Season 2, Episode 21: Resist Images [The CW]

Calista Flockhart Resist Supergirl

Supergirl: Resist Images

The CW has unveiled a whole group of images from next Monday’s penultimate episode of Supergirl giving a sneak preview of what’s coming up during the hour, including the return of Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) and a few other surprises in store.

Kara (Melissa Benoist) gets stuck in a situation during next week’s episode ‘Resist’ after the Madam President puts her in a weird predicament. However, Cat Grant comes back to National City to share some wisdom for both Kara and Supergirl. Meanwhile, Mon-El (Chris Wood) tries to deal with his mother Rhea (Teri Hatcher) as Lena (Katie McGrath) is about to make a horrible choice. And what’s with Lena’s new outfit? Perhaps Rhea is set to have her marry Mon-El? This certainly changes things for Lena. Also returning is Lillian Luthor (Brenda Strong), with whom Supergirl and DEO team up with in order to stop Rhea and the Daxamites from invading Earth.

Not everybody is too happy with having Lillian on their team, especially after everything she has done to them. It will definitely bring back some painful memories for the DEO, but hopefully they are still willing to work together to save the city and the world. Another familiar face returning is the real Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) as he seems to be inside the Fortress of Solitude along with Supergirl and Lillian. Why would they need to be in the Fortress?

Check out the new images from the upcoming episode and let us know what you think.
