Supergirl: Nevertheless, She Persisted Trailer

The CW’s Supergirl Season 2, Episode 22: ‘Nevertheless, She Persisted’ TV Show trailer stars Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Chyler Leigh, and David Harewood. In the season finale, Kara must face off against her cousin before fighting against Rhea (Teri Hatcher).

In the promo for the upcoming season 2 finale, Kara (Melissa Benoist) must fight against her brainwashed cousin Superman (Tyler Hoechlin). Sounds a bit familiar when you think about it, especially since the last season finale found Kal-El in the same predicament. This time however, his cousin must fight him in order to save him. Seemingly she comes out on top as we see her and Rhea facing off for the survival of National City and humanity. It’s the fight of the century, as the promo suggested, with the fight set to begin for the fate of the planet rests on Kara’s shoulders. Can Kara defeat Rhea and stop the Daxamite invasion from happening? We also spot what may be General Zod, teasing what’s to come for next season.

With a fight about to shape up between Kara and Rhea, the way the season finale is taking place seems an awful lot similar to the freshman finale when Kara had to stop Non from invading the city and also was pitted against her sister when she was under mind control by the Kryptonian. What do you guys think of how the season finale will go down?
