SUPERGIRL: Series Gets ARROW and THE FLASH Casting Director

CBS’ Supergirl TV Series Finds its Casting Director. Supergirl will be handing its casting duties to a collaborator of Greg Berlanti. David Rapaport posted on Twitter that he’s been hired as a casting director for the upcoming Supergirl series.

On his Twitter Page, David Rapaport posted a picture of logos from Arrow and The Flash, which he worked on as a casting director. Below it is the Supergirl logo, suggesting that he has gotten the gig.

David was in charge of casting Stephen Amell and Grant Austin for the title roles of Arrow and The Flash. With this new post, David will also be in charge of looking for an actress to portray Kara Zor-El on the small screen.

Supergirl will follow Kara who hides her powers from the world but decides to embrace them in order to become the hero she was meant to be. The show will be produced by Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler.
