We haven’t heard anything about the development of Cyborg’s first solo outing yet. Well, according to actor Ray Fisher, the movie is still on track to come out in 2020. There have been rumors that the superhero won’t be appearing on The Flash and that studios were doubtful on a standalone film, but Ray Fisher assured audiences at the City of Heroes Convention that the film is still in the cards. This latest news comes just weeks after fans suggested that Cyborg should be in a Teen Titans film. It wasn’t until the New 52 reboot that had Cyborg become a founding member of the Justice League. So perhaps the film is looking to go in that route than the old storylines of him as a Teen Titan. What do you guys think of this development?

James Mangold on X-23’s Future After Logan

The ending of Logan left things open for more stories with Dafne Keen’s X-23, but with the character separated from the X-Men timeline, it leaves us with some questions. After a special screening for Logan Noir, director James Mangold held a Q&A with the audience. One of the questions that popped up was regarding what was next with X-23? Since she’s from the future, she’s separated from the main X-Men storylines in the present. Mangold said that he’s already in conversations with 20th Century Fox on what to do with X-23. He told audiences that, “Anything’s possible. I’ve certainly have talked to them about it. I even talked to them about it before we made the movie. I thought she was just such a great character, but with what Dafne did, I think that certainly, that’s possible.” Without giving away any details, he also told ScreenRant on what the film could be about. “A very honest film about young people, is what I’d say – a very honest film about young people growing up.” What do you guys think?

Hellboy Reboot Gets a New Title and Artwork

There have been some interesting developments regarding the upcoming reboot for Hellboy. After revealing the director and actor who will partake in the new film, we now have a title for it as well. At the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, Bloody Disgusting unveiled that the title of the upcoming film would be called Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen. There was even a promo poster, which shows the artwork from the comics. It may no be the official image, but the artwork certainly is making us curious to see the new iteration of the character. The much darker and gruesome film is expected to hit theaters sometime next year. Do you like the title of the film?
